By June 2026, Scoil Mhuire agus Bharra had achieved all goals set out in its School Improvement Plan. The plan focused on three whole-school priorities:
Structured leadership — Assistant Principals worked in clearly defined pairs across Wellbeing, Languages, STEM, Arts and School Self-Evaluation. Subject audits, action plans and regular leadership meetings supported consistent progress.
Attendance — The school strengthened attendance monitoring, early intervention and communication with families. The planned improvement target was achieved ahead of its June 2027 deadline.
Special Educational Needs — A consistent whole-school approach to SEN coordination, planning and communication was established. Records and permissions were moved to Aladdin, new planning formats and provision plans were implemented, and staff professional development and policy review were completed.
Progress was monitored through regular meetings, data review and evidence-based evaluation. The completed plan provides a strong foundation for the school’s next cycle of self-evaluation and improvement.
